How are agents and agencies ordered in ‘Find An Agent?’

How are agencies and agents ranked in 'Find an Agent' search results?

Agencies are primarily displayed in order of the number of sold listings over the last 12 months in the location being searched.

When searcher visits Find an Agent and enters a suburb or area, the default sort order is Sold. Agencies will, by default, appear in order of which agency has the highest number of sold listings in the searched location(s) over the past year.

Please note that on certain pages, the sort order of agencies also depends on the account type. Along with sold statistics, an agency's subscription level or account tier may influence their position in the search results.

The property searcher can change the sort order to see agencies or agents in that location based on:

  • How many properties have been rented.

  • How many New Homes have been sold.

If only one location or suburb is being searched, only listings in that location will be counted. If more than one location is searched, the total number of listings across all searched areas will be combined.

By selecting (total sales) or (total rentals) from the Sort by menu, searchers will see agencies in order of how many listings were sold in total, regardless of the specific location. The searcher can also toggle between viewing agents or agencies.
