All listings on our platform have a set expiry date, which is calculated from the time a listing was first displayed to the public. The expiry period applies regardless of any edits you make.
Previously, agents could edit a listing every 90 days to keep it active indefinitely, but Allhomes no longer supports this option.
Please note, if you wish to extend your listing expiry, you may want to refresh your listing. A listing refresh is a great way to give an aging listing new life. Available 14 days after a listing is first published, a refresh promotes your listing to appear on "New Listings" pages and triggers it to be included in property alerts, all for less than the cost of a new listing. Refreshing your listing extends the listing duration by 90 days. The new expiry date is applied when the refresh starts. You can find out more here.
Expiry Rules
- Private/Casual Listings: Expire 180 days after the listing's first display date.
- Gold & Platinum Listings: Expire 365 days after the listing's first display date.
Important: Editing a listing no longer resets its expiry timer. However, you can extend the expiry date of a listing by 3 months each time you use a listing refresh.
Notification Schedule
To ensure agents are aware of upcoming expiries, we send reminder emails to both the Primary Agent and the Agency Admin addresses.
You will receive expiry reminders:
- 4 weeks before expiry
- 3 weeks before expiry
- 2 weeks before expiry
- 1 week before expiry
- On the day of expiry
What happens when a listing expires?
Once a listing expires, it is removed from the website and will no longer appear in search results. You will need to create a new listing if you wish to relist the property.
Where can you view your listing expiry dates?
You can view the expiry date for each of your listings directly in the Agent Portal, via the Dashboard > My Sales or My Rentals. The expiry date is displayed for each listing, so you can always see how much time is remaining. Please see the example below.
Note - you will only see expiry dates for live listings. Sold properties will be blank.
