What are 'Nearby properties'?

Nearby properties show recently sold or leased properties with similar attributes to the property being viewed, to help users understand the surrounding market context.

Why we are showing nearby properties

Nearby properties that have been sold or leased in the recent past can be useful indications of the amount of the market demand and the value of similar properties in the same area. This is why we chose to display nearby sold and leased properties on listings and property pages on Allhomes.

How are Nearby properties selected?

Nearby properties are selected based on a number of criteria, detailed on the section itself. We are regularly updating those critera to increase the relevancy of those selected properties.

Removing or editing the list of nearby properties

At this point, we do not offer the ability to remove or pick and chose which properties to be displayed in this section. This is to remain fair and factual to our users, guaranteeing the unbiased information we provide them with.

What if recent sales or rented properties are missing?

In Nearby properties section, we only display sold / leased properties that were advertised on Allhomes or Domain. If a property has recently been sold or leased but not listed on Allhomes or Domain, it won't appear in the section.
